New Battery Backup Packages From Briggs & Stratton

Briggs & Stratton Energy Solutions has introduced new "plug-and-play" battery backup packages to provide homeowners with energy resilience during power outages. Unlike traditional generators, these home battery systems operate silently with zero carbon emissions, offering a cleaner and more reliable alternative.

The essential power, managed power and whole home power packages include SimpliPHI 6.6 lithium ferro phosphate batteries, an inverter, EnergyTrak gateway and monitoring apps. These batteries are scalable, compact and can be used with or without solar power to either provide backup energy or offset utility costs. Paired with a generator and solar panels, they can also provide year-round off-grid power.

Once connected to the grid, the batteries automatically activate during an outage, offering up to 16.4 hours of backup power with a three-battery system at full load. For larger homes or businesses, the system can scale up to 18 batteries, providing up to 90 hours of power.
