Exmark ZTR Mowers AcreageLife

Zero Turn Radius mowers, ZTRs, just keep getting better and better every year. With more manufacturers participating in this environment, competition is strong.  To us—the customers—that means ZTRs with better control, stability, fuel economy, and speed, along with amenities and accessories to pull the tedium right out of weekly lawn duty.

We present some of 2017’s more interesting offerings, all of which can be considered “light-professional” or “heavy-duty acreage ready.”

John Deere

ZTrak Z300 series

For those who would only drive green—you know who you are—John Deere has introduced five new ZTR models that give a great mow even at fast speeds. With engines ranging from 20 hp on the Z335E up to 25 hp on the 375R, Deere’s new Accel Deep mower deck is available in 42-, 48- and 54-inch widths for better grass dispersion. Operators can change from mulching to side discharge with the flip of a lever.

All Z300 models boast improved comfort, such as a no-tool-required medium back seat adjustment, control levers with improved ergonomics, and standard floor mats.
